At Holbeach United Football & Education Academy, we are proud to celebrate another year of academic and sporting excellence! Our Year Two scholars on the BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development have once again proven that
commitment, teamwork, and hard work deliver results ā both on the pitch and in the classroom.
š Outstanding Grades, Bright Futures
This yearās cohort has achieved an incredible set of results across the board, with our students collecting a wide range of UCAS points thanks to their top grades. From triple Distinction stars (D*D*D*) to strong Merit and Pass combinations, every learner has shown resilience, focus, and ambition throughout their journey.
1 student achieved the highest possible grade of D*D*D* ā earning 168 UCAS points!
2 students secured D*D*D (160 points)
3 students hit D*DD (152 points)
3 students achieved DDD (144 points)
6 students earned DDM (128 points)
4 students finished with DMM (112 points)
2 secured MMM (96 points)
1 achieved MPP (64 points)
š 21/22 of our Year Two scholars have gained enough UCAS points to progress to university ā an outstanding achievement that showcases the power of education combined with sport. These learners now have the opportunity to continue their development at higher education institutions, taking with them the values and discipline theyāve gained here at Holbeach United FEA.
While our Year Two learners prepare for their next exciting steps, our first year scholars have also made a powerful statement ā showing that the future is bright at Holbeach United FEA!
Our first-year cohort on the BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development have completed their first year with an impressive set of results that reflect both potential and dedication. These grades not only contribute valuable UCAS points but also build the momentum needed to push on for even greater success in Year Two.
Hereās a snapshot of what theyāve achieved so far:
7 students earned top grades of D* ā equivalent to an A* at A-Level, gaining 56 UCAS points each.
7 more students achieved solid Distinctions (D) ā equivalent to an A at A-Level, earning 48 UCAS points.
9 students secured Merits (M) ā equivalent to a C at A-Level, banking 32 UCAS points.
These results are a testament to the focus and growth our learners have shown in their first year with us. From adapting to the demands of dual careers in education and football to showing up day in, day out on the training ground and in the classroom ā this group has set the tone for whatās to come.
š”ā« āAnother year to go, and another 112 UCAS points to aim for!ā ā«š”
We canāt wait to see how far they go next year ā the bar is high, but this group has already shown they are more than capable of rising to the challenge.
š£ Whatās Next?
Keep your eyes peeled for our next blog post, where weāll be announcing who is going where ā from university destinations and course choices to those heading into industry or continuing with us as part of our coaching and internship pathways.
To every scholar who gave it their all this year ā we are proud of you. Your success is well-deserved and just the beginning of what you can achieve.
